Baton Rouge's #1 lifestyle magazine since 2005

Take it out

Baton Rouge has a fresh boutique called Edit on Perkins Road near the I-10 Highland Road exit. The store, formerly operated as Angelique Boutique, but Lauren Pollard, now the store’s sole owner, has rebranded the shoe and clothing boutique in honor of her experience in the fashion trade.

“I chose the name Edit because that is exactly what I do when I go to market in New York,” says the LSU alum. “I start with the top designer collections, and then I edit down to the most unique and exclusive pieces. We continue the editing process at the store every day when we get to know our clients and find what will be the best additions to their wardrobe based on their body type and lifestyle.”

Edit carries designer denim, European bags, shoes and top lines like Diane von Furstenberg, Rag and Bone, and Helmut Lang.

Vintage shoes, dresses and accessories boutique Pretty in Rouge has opened its doors on Jefferson Highway near Government Street.
