Tabletop taps at Schlittz and Giggles

Pull your own—that’s the philosophy behind the new tabletop taps at the Perkins Road location of Schlittz and Giggles (Map it!). Patrons can seat themselves at one of the high-topped bar-style tables, which store kegs beneath, and have two taps peeking out the top. Patrons can order two pints per person, and fill up as they like—the computerized taps will track the amount of beer dispensed and shut off once you’ve hit your limit. If you want more, just let the waitress know and she can top you up. The total is added to your bill at the end of the night. The restaurant features three of these unique tables, the first in Baton Rouge, each dispensing two different kinds of beer—on offer right now is Pabst Blue Ribbon, Abita Amber, Tin Roof, Bud Light, Miller Light and Covington Strawberry.
