Support art, help kids

Take a walk on the wild side. An art walk, that is. The first-annual Smock, Paper, Scissors is a juried art competition, art walk and fundraiser for the Baton Rouge Autonomous School Network. On Saturday, April 12, pick up your free map at Whole Foods and take a stroll through Towne Center shopping and browsing local art. You can help kids draw on their own talents by bringing art supplies (i.e. scissors, construction paper, drawing paper, glue, etc.) to one of the collection bins outside of the participating merchants. 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Free and open to the public.
