Sunday in the Park starts this weekend with BDP

It’s time to rinse off those fold-out lawn chairs that have been piled up behind the shed all winter. The spring series of Sunday in the Park kicks off this Sunday at noon with the Benjy Davis Project, just outside the Shaw Center (Lafayette Park for those in the know). Last year’s BDP show had the largest turnout of the entire concert series. Also set to perform: blues act Moreland & Arbuckle on April 19, Seth Walker on April 26, gospel diva Linda Tillery & the Cultural Heritage Choir on May 3, jazz funk After8 on May 10, and Cajun-Caribbean songwriter Cedric Watson on May 17.
