The bloody wrath of Megan Fox’s flesh-eating hottie in Jennifer’s Body is probably what most guys at her real high school pictured might hit them if they dared ask her out. But what’s more devastating than the prettiest girl in school? The prettiest girl in school getting possessed and ultraviolent? It’s a close call. In theaters Friday, this old school horror-comedy from the mind of Juno scribe Diablo Cody looks like the kind of pop culture-packed freak show Quentin Tarantino would have dreamt up if he hadn’t been so busy killing Nazis this summer. Directed by Girlfight writer/director Karyn Kusama, who we know isn’t afraid to get brutal, Jennifer’s Body also stars Mamma Mia’s Amanda Seyfried, Adam Brody and Amy Sedaris. Rated R.
