‘Streetcar’ comes to BR
Starting this week, the Baton Rouge Little Theatre will bring to life Tennessee Williams’ landmark Southern tragedy, A Streetcar Named Desire. The culture clash between the fading but still beautiful and imperious Blanche Du Boise and her volatile brother-in-law Stanley Kowalski is considered one of Williams’ most influential plays. Sultry seductiveness leads to self-delusion and madness in this amazing work. Tickets are $20-$25 at brlt.org.
