Stone Temple Pilots, R.E.M. on Voodoo’s agenda

R.E.M., Wyclef Jean and Stone Temple Pilots are among the more than 90 artists scheduled to perform at this year’s Voodoo Music Festival, the Times-Picayune reported. Ten years have passed since this outdoor fall music tradition started in New Orleans, becoming the city’s second-largest music attraction next to Jazz Fest.

Now called Voodoo’s Tenth Ritual, the festival adds to its line-up Nine Inch Nails, Dashboard Confessional, Death Cab for Cutie, Man Man, Erykah Badu, the Gutter Twins, Quintron & Miss Pussycat, King Britt’s tribute to Sister Gertrude Morgan, Ghostland Observatory, Panic! at the Disco and the Blind Boys of Alabama.

Voodoo regulars include Clint Maedgen, who will rock out with the New Orleans Bingo! Show and Clint Maedgen +9, Ivan Neville’s Dumpstaphunk, Trombone Shorty and Orleans Avenue, Big Sam’s Funky Nation and Morning 40 Federation.
