Step Brothers fight their way onto DVD
Arrested development is a funny thing when Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly are the ones caught in that middle-aged web of immaturity. Both star as the titular Step Brothers forced to share their spoiled personal spaces when their parents get married. The paper-thin plot is little more than an excuse to have Ferrell and Reilly yell at each other in the hilarious, improv way only they can (see: Talladega Nights). Mary Steenburgen and Richard Jenkins star as the beleaguered parents, and Seth Rogen pops up as the manager of a sporting goods store in the film’s funniest sequence.
