Steinberg stalks ghost bird, lives to write about it
Michael Steinberg, author of Stalking the Ghost Bird: The Elusive Ivory-Billed Woodpecker in Louisiana, will give a talk at LSU on Friday, May 2 in Room E130 in the Howe-Russell Geography Building. Steinberg, an LSU graduate and professor of geography at the University of Alabama, has written one of the most comprehensive books detailing the history of the elusive ivory-billed woodpecker in Louisiana.
