State Archives showcases Chinese artist’s ‘Romantic Seasons’

Delia Chien Un, whose paintings hang in galleries around the world, will hang her oil paintings in “Romantic Seasons,” a monthlong exhibit at the Louisiana State Archives on Essen Lane. Delia’s art expresses nature, seasons, landscape and still life. She’s studied under renowned impressionist Bai Mu Chung at the University of Malaysia as well as Italian artist Marcello Saldarelli. The mezza soprano’s work has also graced the walls of the United Nations headquarters in Vienna, Austria, as well as galleries in Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, Singapore, Las Vegas and New York. Meet the artist at a reception Sunday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Archives building.
