Star-spangled celebration downtown

Today, Baton Rouge’s annual Fourth of July celebration kicks off downtown at 12 p.m., with live music, food and drink booths and much more. Celebrate your independence from boredom with this awesome, family-friendly event along the riverfront—including a mock air battle above the USS Kidd. Then finish off the evening with a spectacular fireworks display above the Mississippi River after the sun goes down.
