The Grammy-winning saxophonist and Tony Award nominee performs two shows in the Capital City tonight. Branford Marsalis will play with his quartet at Manship Theatre. Tickets for the 7 p.m. show are sold out, but limited tickets for the 9 p.m. performance remain. The ensemble is considered one of the most innovative and forward-thinking groups of jazz players today. Marsalis and his quartet recently released Four MFs Playin’ Tunes. The performance is the last of the 2013-2014 River City Jazz Masters series from the Arts Council.
