Spatula Diaries by Maggie Heyn Richardson – A sparkling wine for the season

A go-to sparkling wine is irreplaceable in spring and summer, as warmer temps invite something crisp and cool to start to things off at night. Bellinis and Kir Royales are among my favorite cocktails in hot weather, not to mention a simple glass of the right bubbly to get the palate ready. Champagne is often too pricey for everyday use.
