‘South Pacific’ at River Center

Considered by many to be one of the greatest Broadway musicals of all time, South Pacific comes to the Baton Rouge River Center this Friday. Based on the 2008 Tony Award winning Lincoln Center Theater production, the musical tells the seeping romantic story of two couples stationed on a pacific island during WWII, and how their happiness is threatened by the realities of war and by their own prejudices.
