Smoothies at the movies, a smashing concept!

Coming soon to a theater near you: Smoovies, Movies Without the Guilt. High school best friends Jason Melancon and Steve Nilforoushan, 30, are now selling this healthy alternative to popcorn and soda to big theater chains around the nation, starting this weekend with the Grand Cinema. Priced around $6.50 each, the Smoovie is made with 100% pure California fruit purees chockfull of vitamins C and A, with none of the yucky stuff such as sugar and high-fructose corn syrup. Starting out, flavors will be strawberry-banana and pineapple-mango.
