Slow Food urban agriculture classes … Nutcracker Tea for kids

Slow food, big results: If you’re interested in Baton Rouge’s growing Slow Food movement, try checking out one of their fall urban agriculture workshops at the Burden Center on Essen Lane. Tea and theater: The Nutcracker Land of the Sweets Tea is an interactive experience geared toward elementary-aged children. At the tea, children will get to meet characters from The Nutcracker: A Tale from the Bayou, including Clara, while enjoying delicious sweets and finger foods.
