‘Slapstickers’ kicks off at Baton Rouge Gallery

Silent film star Buster Keaton’s classic film Sherlock, Jr. comes to life on the big screen once more this Saturday at the Baton Rouge Gallery’s annual summer Movies and Music on the Lawn series. This year’s theme is Slapstickers, so you can look forward to a full run of hilarious physical comedy from the silent era. Sherlock, Jr. sees Keaton fantasizing of solving a crime and winning the girl of his dreams—while hilarity inevitably ensues. A live soundtrack will be provided by local band The (New) Zeelanders.
