Skating on the River

With Baton Rouge’s relatively warm and humid winters, the chances are nil for most of us ever getting to experience skating on an actual frozen river. Thank goodness, then, for the River Center’s annual “Skating on the River” event, which allows us to strap on some blades and glide across the ice for an hour or two.
