English brute Clive Owen shows us what his James Bond might have been like had he not turned down the role before Daniel Craig in this stylish thriller set in the world of high stakes global finance. Directed by Run Lola Run’s Tom Tykwer, The International is inspired by the Bank of Credit & Commerce International banking scandal of the 1980s and early 1990s.
