Spots are filling up fast for Saturday’s gingerbread house-making class at The Panhandler, a mom-and-pop kitchen gadget shop in Citiplace with plenty of kits for gingerbread houses. Call 927-4371 to sign up for the 2 p.m. class. It’s also the time of year for sharp kitchen tools for the holidays, so swing by from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 18, to get a lesson on knife-sharpening as an expert sharpens your own knives. The Panhandler is open on Sundays from noon to 4 p.m. through the Christmas rush.
