Shoebox sculptures at LSU MOA
Sculptures smaller than a shoebox will take center stage at LSU Museum of Art’s 10th International Shoebox Sculpture Exhibition, featuring over 100 shoebox-sized sculptures by a large number of well-known artists from Hawaii, the U.S. mainland, Australia, Canada, Chile, China, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Japan, Korea, Norway, Taiwan, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom. Inspiring and thought-provoking, the works represent a full range—from political and social commentary to humor, from personal narrative to enigmatic statements, and from realism to abstraction. These sculptures demonstrate the imaginative spirit and the endless creativity of the artists involved. Opens May 29, regular admission applies. lsumoa.com
