Mel Brooks’ classic comedy comes to life in the latest Theatre Baton Rouge production. The story follows the young Dr. Frankenstein (pronounced “Fronkensteen”) as he attempts to complete his grandfather’s work and bring a corpse to life. With a little help from his odd and endearing helper Igor and lab assistant Inga, the doctor succeeds, but not without scary and often hilarious complications. Thursday-Saturday performances take place at 7:30 p.m. at the Theatre Baton Rouge Main Stage, 7155 Florida Blvd. Additional performances take place Saturday and Sunday at 2 p.m. Tickets are $28.
