See the legendary Cheap Trick – Surrender to the sounds of one of the most popular rock bands of all time.

Surrender to the sounds of one of the most popular rock bands of all time. Cheap Trick, a rock band out of Illinois known for hits such as “Surrender” and “I Want You to Want Me,” will perform Saturday as part of the Dixie Landin’ summer concert series. Gates to the concert grounds open at 6:30 p.m.; the show begins at 7 p.m. Entry is free to park guests. Cheap Trick started in the early ’70s, gaining praise and popularity in Japan. It wasn’t until 1979 that the band achieved success in the United States with the album Dream Police. The record has since sold three million copies. In 1988, the band came back with another gold-selling record, Lap of Luxury. The group’s live album, Live at Budokan, showing off the band’s performance in Tokyo in 1978, remains its bestselling title. Visit Dixie Landin’ online for more information.
