New works from Mary Ann Caffery, Randell Henry and Phyllis Lear are now on display at the City Park gallery. To celebrate this month’s show, the gallery at 1515 Dalrymple Drive hosts a free First Wednesday opening reception tonight, 7 p.m.-9 p.m. On Sunday, the gallery hosts an ARTiculate artist talk, featuring all three artists discussing their work and answering questions about their process. Caffery’s latest exhibit, “Heading South,” features atmospheric photographs investigating the behavior of light. Henry’s latest pieces, dubbed “New Abstractions,” feature colorful mixed media works. Lear’s new exhibit, “Some One You May Know,” is a continuation of the artist’s infatuation with found objects. All the pieces will be on display in the gallery through July 31. There is no admission during normal gallery hours, Tuesday-Sunday noon-6 p.m. For more information, call 383-1470 or visit batonrougegallery.org.
