An exotic animal and reptile convention heads to the Lamar Dixon Expo Center in Gonzales (9039 S. St. Landry Ave.) this weekend. This exhibit includes a large display of snakes, bearded dragons, tarantulas and more wild animals from around the globe. The event kicks off Saturday at 10 a.m. and continues until 5 p.m. Repticon will also be open Sunday, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for children 5-12, and free for children 4 and younger.
