A new month means another opportunity to see the latest creations from Baton Rouge Gallery’s artist members. The latest works from Dawn Black, Katie Knoeringer and Matt Morris will be on display this month. A free “First Wednesday” opening reception kicks off tonight at 7 p.m., and the artists will discuss their works Sunday as part of the gallery’s free ARTiculate artist talks at 4 p.m. Black’s latest works are titled “Death Cult,” and feature stark war-related paintings, while Knoeringer presents abstract paintings in “Wild Dogs,” and Morris displays surrealist paintings in “Working Memory.” For more information, visit batonrougegallery.org or call 383-1470.
