See King of Herrings at Manship

Get an offbeat look at the Crescent City in the new comedy-drama, King of Herrings. Manship Theatre will screen the film Friday at 6:30 p.m. Joe Chrest, Andrea Frankle and Eddie Jemison star as residents who dream big, ranting about women during card games and drinking endless cups of coffee. Jemison directed the film with Sean Richardson. Earlier this year, the film won the 2013 Audience Award Narrative Feature in the New Orleans Film Festival.
