See amateur basketballers compete

If you’re longing for a little basketball action in the middle of summer, the Capital City is the place to be this weekend. T.T.G. Productions is hosting its inaugural Capital City Classic Pro-Am Basketball Tournament Saturday at 8 a.m. at the Sports Complex at BREC’s Perkins Road Community Park (7122 Perkins Road). The event runs through Sunday and features basketball players of all skill levels and leagues around the country competing for a $5,000 grand prize. Day passes are $25, and weekend passes are $35.
