Wagging tails, tiny floats and pups in costume are typical sights at CAAWS Mystic Krewe of Mutts. The 2014 parade honors man’s best friend and The Marines with the theme of Semper Fideaux. As well as being a day of family fun, the parade is also the biggest annual fundraiser for CAAWS. People and pooches are welcome to participate in various contests for best costume, best float and best group theme. The barking good time kicks off at 1:30 p.m. Sunday.
