Scuttlebutt: Maxwell’s Market makes national media splash

Salad of the stars: Twilight may have moved to Canada for the next stage of filming, but its influence is still being felt around the Capital City. Maxwell’s Market—a frequent haunt of the vampire movie’s star, Robert Pattinson—was featured in this month’s People magazine with their recipe for Cobb Salad the way Pattinson liked it: with Greek vinaigrette dressing, hickory-smoked bacon and Paul Prudhomme’s blackened catfish Magic seasoning. Although if you really want it the way the actor liked it, you should “hold the egg and cheese,” according to Maxwell’s managing partner, Trent Frierson.
