Scream along with Little Shop of Horrors

As October approaches, New Venture Theater is getting into the Halloween spirit with their production of Little Shop of Horrors. Composed by Alan Menken of Disney fame (The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, and nearly every other ’90s animated film), the musical sci-fi parody follows the story of a florist who raises a flesh-eating plant. The show opens Thursday at 7:30 p.m. and runs through Oct. 6 at Independence Park Theatre. Tickets are $20. For more information, click here.
