‘Scream’ again

The Ghostface Killer is back, not with a new album this Friday, but a new film in Scream 4, a surprise resurrection of Wes Craven’s popular 1990s slasher series eleven years after Scream 3 bowed out of theaters. Ten years after surviving the last attempt on her life, Neve Campbell’s Sidney Prescott is a mostly well-adjusted writer who has finally moved on with her life, but as the 10th anniversary of those murders approaches, a new psychopath begins killing again and posting videos of his treachery on the Internet. And this time, the unpredictable serial killer is not abiding by the rules of horror movies, making him all the more dangerous. David Arquette and Courtney Cox return in their original roles and are joined by Kristen Bell, Allison Brie, Adam Brody, Hayden Panettiere, Anna Paquin and Emma Roberts. Rated PG-13.
