Scooby-Doo and treasures at West Baton Rouge Museum

Two new exhibits open Saturday at the West Baton Rouge Museum (Map it!). The Port Allen museum will show off Scott Innes’ collection of work and knick-knacks from the popular cartoon, Scooby-Doo. Innes was the official voice of the Scooby-Doo character for some time and has been in five animated motion pictures and the live-action Scooby-Doo movie in 2002. The museum will also host the national touring exhibit “The Hunt for Treasure!” through September. The exhibit explores treasure hunting, shipwrecks, pirates and more.
