Scary movies around town

Scary movies are always best enjoyed in a group, especially at this time of year, and this weekend provides plenty of ways to get your thrill on with a group. At the Manship Theatre on Friday, bring your rubber gloves and flashlights for a screening of The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Saturday, also at the Manship, you can catch the classic ‘80s vampire flick The Lost Boys. Click here for times and more information. Also on Saturday, the Louisiana International Film Festival presents an outdoor screening of two spine-tingling Louisiana-shot films starting at 7 p.m.: 1967’s Hush… Hush, Sweet Charlotte and the recent indie horror hit The Last Exorcism.
