Saturday tribute to Blue Dog artist George Rodrigue
The artist who brought international fame to a blue dog showcases his legendary work from 1971 to 1991 this week, as Acadiana Center for the Arts opens George Rodrigue: Legends & Lives of Acadiana. Take a scenic drive down the I-10 West on Saturday afternoon to meet Louisiana’s artist laureate, and browse his Cajun culture-inspired images of bayous, fields, architecture, people and lore.
