Sammy’s to open location in Central

Sammy’s Grill, which serves an array of Louisiana seafood and steaks, is opening its third location in a couple of weeks, this time in Central. The super-sized restaurant will be near the Super Wal-Mart on Wax Road, and will feature the same layout as the popular Zachary eatery, except with a wrap-around porch and covered patio for outdoor dining. “We’re all thinking that’ll be about as big as it gets,” says Eric Geloneck, manager of the original Highland Road location. “It’s a great design and great location in a town, so it should be a home run.”
