Saigon Noodles offers taste of Vietnam

Named one of Acadiana’s Best New Restaurants by the Acadiana Profile, among such prestigious company as Donald Link’s Cochon, Saigon Noodles (Map it!) has already earned a loyal following in Lafayette. Now its owners, brothers Danny and Chris Nguyen, have brought the popular Vietnamese restaurant to Baton Rouge in a location on the corner of Florida Boulevard and Sherwood Forest.

An expansive menu of purely Vietnamese dishes that offers everything from the ever-popular noodle soup pho to specialties like a hearty beef soup called bun bo hue and a noodle bowl with rolls and toppings ranging from sugarcane shrimp to beef short ribs called bun cha gio have proved incredibly popular at both locations. Detailed menu descriptions and lush pictures ensure that even newcomers to Vietnamese food will be able to select a meal with ease, and a huge selection of vegetarian dishes means almost anyone can find something to eat on the menu. They also have gone beyond simple spring rolls to create signature appetizers like the autumn, winter and summer rolls. Click here to view a photo gallery of Saigon Noodles. 1295 N.
