Safari Nights at the Zoo
Have you ever wondered what the Baton Rouge Zoo is like at night? Safari Night programs, held every Friday and Saturday, offer insight into the nightlife of the zoo’s nocturnal animals. Bring your sleeping bag, lots of curiosity and get ready to discover some new things. A safari guide will lead your group on walking tours of different parts of the zoo, where you’ll learn all about the zoo’s animals through hands-on activities and animal encounters. Participants arrive at 6:30 p.m., with the adventure ending at 9:30 a.m. the next morning, after a continental breakfast and the experience of serving breakfast to a zoo animal.
