Rural Red Rooster Bash

The LSU Rural Life Museum kicks off a new tradition with the inaugural Red Rooster Bash this Friday, a soiree and auction to raise money for this venerable Baton Rouge establishment. Enjoy cocktails and hors d’oeuvres starting at 6:30 p.m., and browse items from artwork, travel packages, jewelry, antiques and more at the silent auction. Stick around for a delicious southern-style supper and live auction at 8 p.m. with one-of-a-kind items from a trip to London to an original oil painting by Charles G. Smith.
