Roundup: LSU to brew own beer

Tiger brew: In a bid to become more entrepreneurial, LSU will soon begin brewing its own branded beer. “We have to reduce the dependency on state appropriations,” Chancellor Michael Martin said in a speech to a business group Tuesday. The university will partner with the Tin Roof Brewing Company and Mockler Beverage, and could begin distributing later this year.
