Roundup: Galatoire’s ‘exploring options’ for Baton Rouge location … Cane’s to open 100th restaurant in 2011 … Zagat rates top chains … Izzo’s moving to Mall of La.

Maybe moving?: Officials with Galatoire’s Bistro say they are “exploring options” for their Baton Rouge location. Melvin Rodrigue, general manager and chief operating officer, says the restaurant is committed to Baton Rouge. There are rumors that the bistro may be moving from its location on Perkins Road, near Highland Road. Rodrigue says there are “no definite plans” to move in the city. Cane’s ‘centennial’: Raising Cane’s is scheduled to open its 100th location in the first quarter of 2011. The location of the restaurant hasn’t been released yet, but Julie Perrault, a company spokeswoman, says it will be in Louisiana. Todd Graves, Cane’s founder and CEO, wanted to make sure the 100th store is in Louisiana, the chain’s home state and the matrix of its success. Cane’s now has 92 locations and is set to open restaurants in Bossier City and in Norfolk, Va., next month, and one by Cortana Mall in October. Where to eat: Zagat has released an online survey of the top national restaurant chains. Wendy’s was rated as the top mega-chain (over 5,000 locations), while Bonefish Grill took the top honors in the full-service restaurant category. Five Guys Burgers and Fries, which is building a location in Towne Center, was rated as making the best hamburger, and Subway was rated as the top healthy option among the mega-chains. The full list can be seen here. Itty-bitty Izzo’s: Izzo’s Illegal Burrito, the Baton Rouge-based restaurant chain, is set to open a smaller version of their fast-line, casual Mexican restaurant in the Mall of Louisiana food court. Lil’ Izzo’s will feature a limited version of the signature burritos, quesadillas, tacos and nachos. Plans are to open Lil’ Izzo’s in a location near the mall’s Rising Cane’s before the holiday shopping season takes off. Izzo’s has seven locations in Baton Rouge, Covington, New Orleans, Lake Charles and Lafayette.
