Roundup: Burbank Sonic has early-morning fire

Under control: An early-morning fire near the drive-through window at the Sonic Drive-In at 10603 Burbank Dr. on Monday left the restaurant with smoke damage throughout, but no injuries, as employees had not arrived for work when firefighters were dispatched to the blaze around 5 a.m. The fire, which was brought under control about 10 minutes after firefighters arrived, remains under investigation.
