Round-up: Expanded school brands for Zapp’s … New fam restaurant in Zachary
As long as there’s no Ole Miss: Kettle-chip company Zapp’s is expanding their offerings of school-branded chips to include Texas A&M, the University of Texas, and the University of Tennessee. Richard Gaudry, sales manager for Gramercy-based Zapp’s, says Tennessee and Texas were natural markets because the chips are popular in those states. Milling around: Notoco Holdings has purchased a site off of Old Scenic Highway in Zachary to develop into a family-style restaurant called The Mill. The future restaurant will have private rooms for meetings and banquets, and a patio for outside dining. Construction is set to begin sometime in the next two months.
