Round-up: Dempsey’s now open in former Vic’s site

Dempsey’s is now open in the old Vic’s Chophouse building on Jefferson Highway. Dempsey’s, which has been open for 12 years on Coursey, sells po-boys, plate lunches and fried seafood. Manager Josh Armand says the restaurant liked the Jefferson location because it’s close to a number of neighborhoods and businesses. Dempsey’s is open for lunch, but it will open for dinner in the next few weeks.
