Rodin exhibit opens to public Sunday
Rodin: A Magnificent Obsession comes to the LSU Museum of Art as part of a traveling exhibit of 65 bronze sculptures from the late B. Gerald and Iris Cantor private collection. There has been controversy whether The Thinker is a fake; however, Rodin permitted the French government to continue casting his work from his original molds, even after his death. Opening reception for the public is 1 p.m. Sunday, with a Judith Sobol tour at 2 p.m. A panel discussion, Nude Vs. Naked, starts at 6:30 p.m. Jan. 29. The exhibit continues through April 19.
