Rockin’ for Women benefits family violence program

The city’s musical talent join together to fight back against those who victimize women. Rockin’ for Women, a benefit concert for the Capital Area Famliy Violence Intervention Center and the Battered Women’s Program, features appearances by Here Is Why (as featured in 225 blogger Alex Cook’s Record Crate this week), Robin Kinchen, Ryan & Kirby, Lindsey Rae Spurlock, Miss Louisiana 2007 and motivational speaker Bert Fiftof the CAFVIC.  1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday.
