Road ‘Warrior’

Boxing has Rocky. Martial arts has Karate Kid. What about MMA? Cage fighting gets its own heroes on screen this Friday with the release of Warrior. A fractured family reunites at the ring in this rough-and-tumble drama. When bitter young man played by future Batman foe Tom Hardy returns home, he asks his washed-up father to train him for an upcoming mixes martial arts tournament. This sets him on a remarkable path to meet his estranged older brother head to head for the championship. Joel Edgerton, Jennifer Morrison and Nick Nolte co-star. Rated PG-13.
