“I had already been adding pieces of stained glass to many of my paintings. Instead of painting a picture of wine being poured from a wine bottle into a glass, I thought it would be cool to attach a real wine bottle and glass to the canvas and then paint the pouring effect with acrylic paint. This technique offers endless possibilities. I can paint the background or the wine to resemble a theme, as I do in my ‘Taste of Purple & Gold’ collection.”
