“My favorite director is P.T Anderson. He made my all-time favorite film Magnolia and also my second favorite film, Boogie Nights. My favorite scene from Magnolia is when Julianne Moore gets into her altercation with the pharmacist. Her acting is amazing there—so real and vulnerable. Anderson’s shots are always long, and his characters always have some sort of flaw within them. Between the constant movement of the camera, the amazing music, the colorful locations and the talented actors that he repeats from one film to the next, his work is consistently fantastic.”
