‘Rhythm and Improvisation’ opening reception Thursday at LASM

The Louisiana Art & Science Museum will debut a new exhibit, “Rhythm and Improvisation: John T. Scott and His Legacy,” this Friday with an opening reception 5 p.m.-8 p.m. The exhibition includes “visual jazz” works created by Scott, considered to be one of America’s most innovative artists, as well as the works of other artists who share Scott’s spirit and sensibility.
